Today I wrote a note for my office door with large letters: NO, stay out, knock ONLY if it is VERY important. Otherwise stay away, I am working. Write me an email if it is sort of important. Except of course if you are on the 'guest list':

Close family
If you bring candy (preferably chocolate)
Or food
Or coffee
Placing me on the guestlist; thats the closest I'll get to an invitation to come and distract you for short, intense while ;o)
As soon as my busy holiday plans allow me to get close to the city again, I'll try to make it to your office.
